Experience of Edo culture that can only be found hereNihonbashi, the start and end point of Japan’s old kaido roads, is where the new Edo culture was born from a fusion of various cultures and technologies that converged from all over Japan in the Edo period. Much of this culture has been handed down to this day. World-renowned director Amon Miyamoto was born in this area, and oversees the production of content that allows visitors to experience culture, performing arts, and martial arts that have been handed down from the Edo period, as well as information on antenna stores that serve as a hub for interaction with provincial Japan, inviting visitors from overseas to tour the area from Nihonbashi to Ginza, and from there to areas along the old kaido roads.
